OSHC Educator - Cocktail Party

Join us at the Shelbourne Hotel on Saturday 16th July for an evening of canapés, drinks, music & dancing!

The evening will be held at The Rooftop Sydney at the Shelbourne Hotel.

• Celebrations will commence at 7pm.
• Food from 7:30pm.
• DJ from 7:30pm until 11:30pm.

Theme for the event ~ YOU!

What better theme than you, lets celebrate you and all your hard work, passion and dedication to the OSHC profession. What a long few years we have all had and it is about time we stopped to take a moment and appreciate all that you have done with a night just for you.

This is a great opportunity for OSHC services to reward their teams hard work with a ticket or work BFF's to attend together and meet other like minded OSHC educators.

We will be organising educator awards voted by you, prizes, picture displays, and best of all - song requests (pick your favourite to be played on the night).

We can't wait to see you there!

Dress theme ~ Cocktail:

Since we have not had much of an opportunity to go to many places over the last few years, the concurrent theme for this years party (along with celebrating you) is cocktail. Lets dress how we rarely get to in cocktail attire (a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable).

The venue:

The Rooftop Sydney at The Shellborne Hotel is a great new venue and lovely renovation. Want to see more of the venue? You can view the website here https://www.therooftop.com.au/

We have reserved the whole top level to ourselves (floorplan below) - it is open style with a retractable roof so we can still enjoy rain, hail or shine. There is a variety of seating areas from low tables, benches and high tables to allow for easy mingling - get to know each other. Plus the all important dancefloor. We also have our own bathrooms on our level and bar - to help make you as comfortable as possible.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Due to the location, you have lots of options from driving, catching a train, a bus and even a ferry.

We popped together some quick info for train and car:

Train:

• 7 minute walk from Town Hall train station.
• 9 minute walk from Wynyard train station.

Car:

If you want to drive, there is plenty of car parks around however we have checked and the two Wilson carparks near the venue (one on Sussex, other on Kent) have a flat weekend rate of $15. What if I want to come early?

We hear great things about a few local places at Cockle Bay Wharf if you wanted to meet with friends early, such as Blackbird Cafe.

Is food provided?

Yes! We have a selection of canapes organised and will be brought around to guests.

What drinks is included?

We have a bar tab organised with soft drinks, house beer, wine, champagne and opening up to house spirits (with mixes) where appropriate.

Please note that this is a social event and inappropriate consumption of alcohol or ill behaviour will not be tolerated.

What should I bring to the event?

Yourself and permission to have a good time - let your hair down, meet other educators, stop to appreciate all you do and spoil yourself.

What's the refund policy?

Sorry, there are no refunds for this event unless it is cancelled by the provider or for any other unforeseen circumstances. If it is cancelled due to COVID, we will offer a full refund.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No you don't, why not get sustainable and have your ticket on your phone instead?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, can't attend? Sorry to hear and we'll miss you, but not to worry - you can transfer your ticket to another educator – just let us know.

How come the flyer says $90 but I am being charged more?

Good pick up! The event is only $90, however the higher price you see at checkout is due to additional charges of GST and Eventbrite's fees.
