Ready to take the step into Homeownership? Join Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County, a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, for a FREE First-time Homebuyer Workshop (Homebuyer Educational Seminar) where you will learn what it takes to become homebuyer ready!

During this workshop, you will learn about:

• Financial readiness
• Credit
• Shopping for lenders and mortgages
• Down-payment assistance programs
• Working with realtors
• Homeowners’ insurance
• Home maintenance & inspection
• What a home title is
• How to apply for homestead exemption
• Fair housing
• and much more!

This interactive workshop allows you to engage and ask questions.

Please note:

• Must be 18+ to participate. (We respectfully request no children under 18).
• This is an 8-hour workshop.
• To receive a First-time Homebuyer workshop certificate, you must attend and complete the workshop. (If you are unable to stay the 8 hours, we will not be able to give you a certificate)
• When reserving your spot, register all participating parties (if married, you will complete two registrations but only receive one certificate).
• Be sure to use your full name from your ID or Driver's License, as that will be printed on your certificate.
• Light refreshments will be provided. You are encouraged to bring your own lunch and/or snacks.

First-Time Homebuyer Class

We’re excited to have you join us! Please review the important details below to ensure a smooth and successful class experience.

Class Time:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Check-In:
Begins at 8:30 AM
(Please arrive on time to allow for a prompt start.)

Attendance Requirement:
Participants must attend the full 8-hour session to receive a certificate. Late arrival, early departure, or extended absences may result in not receiving certification.

Certificate Distribution:
A valid photo ID is required to receive your 8-hour class certificate at the end of the session.

Lunch:
Lunch is not provided. You may bring your own lunch or plan accordingly.

Required Documents (If Applicable):
If the address you registered with is different from the address on your ID, you must upload:

• A copy of your photo ID
• Proof of address (utility bill, lease, etc.)
