Curious about body suspension? Want to see what the Ontario Suspension Collective is all about — and check things out firsthand? Interested in connecting with folks from BME and learning about their relaunch?
If you said yes to any of the above, we highly suggest coming to hang out with us during Public Open Hours at SNOW & STEEL!
For this event, we’re opening the doors of OBJX Studio and welcoming the suspension-curious to watch a few suspensions, connect with the OSC and BME, and get a feel for what we do and why we do it!
This is our first Toronto event in over a year and a half, and our first-ever winter weekend gathering — a collaboration between the Ontario Suspension Collective and the legendary BME, who will be there documenting and archiving the weekend. If you’ve been interested in suspension, this is going to be a great opportunity to see it for yourself.
What to Expect
- The opportunity to watch a few suspensions.
- A chance to learn about the OSC, the suspension community here in Southern Ontario and our approach to facilitating suspensions.
- BME will be onsite helping to document the event over the weekend and will be promoting the relaunch of BME that happened earlier this year.
Whether you're considering your first suspension, reconnecting with the community, or simply curious about the practice, our Open Hours are a great way to experience the vibe before jumping in.
Accessibility & Capacity
Space during Public Open Hours is limited to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for suspendees and visitors. Advance tickets are strongly encouraged. Accessing the event space at OBJX does require climbing a set of stairs to the second floor of the building. If you have any accessibility requirements, please don't hesitate to reach out to us in advance, and we will be able to find accommodations.
Protocols & Conduct
All attendees must review the prior to arriving. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave and may impact your ability to attend future OSC events.
