About the Play

ORVIN - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS is a musical comedy of accidental heroism.

Orvin lives in a world populated by heroes but he himself isn’t one. He’s a mere squire to the mighty Lord Ulmar, the fiercest warrior ever seen on the plains of Hypothetica – or anywhere else for that matter.

But when Orvin oversleeps on the day of a crucial battle, he sets in motion a chain of events that will see him assume the mantle of Lord Ulmar himself and reluctantly journey to the castle of Presupposia in the hostile land of the Varne – to woo the princess, right past wrongs and set to rest a bitter feud that has been going on for centuries.

Will the Gods smile on Orvin’s mission or will he fall victim to the web of intrigue and M**der that awaits him ? Will Orvin find his inner hero or will the angry Gods strike him down ? There’s only one way to find out….

ORVIN - CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd.
