Learning Objectives

FRCS preparation for all

Understand and develop knowledge of common orthopaedic scenarios

Neck of femur and femoral fractures

ATLS/Trauma scenarios

Practice simulated surgical steps in a controlled environment, including:

  • Virtual reality and saw bone intramedullary femoral nailing
  • Augmented reality training
  • Arthroscopic Simulation
  • Critical assessment and tips to improve surgical approach without risking patient safety
  • Opportunity to obtain feedback
