These responses can move the client out of pain and discomfort within 10-30 seconds. This method is very specific and structure-oriented. It is easy on the practitioner and can easily be integrated into any massage or bodywork session. It is amazing how such gentle and simple techniques can give such deep releases.
Jim Berns is a Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Advanced Instructor and has been trained directly by the founder, Arthur Lincoln Pauls D.O. Jim is co-author with Kathy Kain of the book Ortho-Bionomy A Practical Manual. He has taught Ortho-Bionomy internationally. Jim was given the “Excellenxce in Massage Education Award’ by the AMTA-CA for his excellence in teaching and sharing his knowledge. His private practice has had many successful referral cases including post-surgery work, severe accidents, somatic trauma, peak performance, and pain management. He has been a certified Massage Therapist since 1979. Jim brings to his teachings- detailed information, a compassionate heart and a “unique” sense of humor.
