Kick off Pride Month with the Orlando Gay Chorus. Setting the tone for what it means to be fierce, fabulous and fearless in the face of adversity, this concert is a joyful act of resistance, a celebration of authenticity and a reminder that LGBTQ+ stories, identities and music will not be erased. The program will feature music written or made famous exclusively by LGBTQ+ artists, honoring the voices who have shaped our culture and paved the way for generations to come. Audiences will experience the power and passion of artists such as Chappell Roan, Melissa Etheridge, Mary Lambert, Ricky Martin, Sam Smith, Janelle Monáe, 4 Non Blondes, Queen, Lady Gaga, George Michael, Tracy Chapman, Billy Porter and more. This spectacular spring performance promises to inspire, uplift and delight—reminding us all that even in the most challenging times, our community’s music remains louder than fear, stronger than hate and filled with unstoppable pride.
About The Orlando Gay Chorus (OGC)
The Orlando Gay Chorus (OGC) is one of the largest mixed LGBTQ+ choruses in the country. Rooted in love, OGC was founded on Valentine’s Day in 1990. OGC has been a fixture in the Central Florida area for over 35 years. In addition to the full chorus, OGC has six small ensembles that perform at the annual concerts and cabarets, as well as at community and private events.
