Orlando Balloon Glow 2021

This outdoor event features tethered hot air balloon rides, local food and retail vendors, bounce houses, and optional ticket upgrades for an elevated experience. Don't miss the main event: hot air balloons glowing after dark!

All guests attending this event MUST HAVE an admission ticket per person. Ride tickets, parking tickets etc. are not considered admission tickets. They are add on purchases to the admission fee. Admission does not include rides. Ride tickets do not include admission etc.

Gates for this event do not open until 5pm. Please do not arrive before this time as entry cannot be permitted before this time.

Please arrive BEFORE 7PM. There is no entry permitted after 7pm. We cannot make exceptions. The reason for this policy is to ensure that the venue is exit only after 7pm to ensure that guests can exit the event without delays.

Balloon activity is weather-permitting. The event is considered the entire festival, which will take place rain or shine. Just because the event is rain or shine, that does not guarantee that hot air balloons will be on display. Hot air balloons cannot inflate if the winds are too great, if it rains or if there are gusty conditions. The decision on whether balloons inflate is made by the hot air balloon pilots. If they decide conditions are not safe, their decision is final. Balloon pilots attend this event from all over the country - they want to display their balloons as much as you want to see them! That being said, we will never take a chance with safety.

Tethered balloon rides can be purchased at an additional cost. Tickets are priced per person and all balloon passengers must have a ticket regardless of age and have a pre-completed liability waiver. When you arrive at the venue, you will hand your insurance waiver to the check in desk staff in return for a ride token. Without a ride token from the check in desk, you will be unable to ride in a balloon. This is because pilots are prohibited from carrying pasengers who have not filled in a liability waiver and checked in at the desk.

TICKET OPTIONS AND UPGRADES

Private Couple Rides: Experience a tethered balloon ride for couples, where you will view the festival from above in a private hot air balloon.The Chasers Club will grant you access to an exclusive seating area to include climate-controlled restrooms. Weather permitting, The Chasers Club guests will receive a complimentary tethered ride in one of our modern hot air balloons. Guests purchasing this package are paying for the hospitality and not the hot air balloon ride. If balloon activity is canceled, tickets cannot be transferred as the experience is a complimentary add on for the day and date specified only.We are pleased to offer additional hospitality via the exclusive Pilot Club. This area features private climate-controlled restrooms, exclusive Terrace seating and hot appetizers. Weather permitting, VIP guests will receive a complimentary tethered ride in one of our modern hot air balloons. Guests purchasing this package are paying for the hospitality and not the hot air balloon ride. If balloon activity is canceled, tickets cannot be transferred as the experience is a complimentary add on for the day and date specified only.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:

This event is strictly capacity-controlled. Due to Covid-19, we may be required to operate under additional guidelines and protocols. As such, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel this event subject to advice from local health officials and in communication with the County and State, who issue the permits for this event to take place. If the event is cancelled, your booking will be switched to the replacement dates and you will have the option to switch to other BGT events.

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where the public are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to the virus at this event.

This event will follow CDC guidelines and ask all guests to socially distance from other groups. Guests MUST preregister before attending - there will be no "day of" tickets or admission sold at the gate. We ask that all guests consider wearing a face covering when in close proximity to other guests and that you are respectful to others.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

*This event is rain or shine. The event (food vendors, retail vendors, Kids Zone etc.) will operate regardless of weather conditions. Hot air balloons cannot and will not inflate in rain or high winds due to safety reasons; although the event is rain or shine, this does not ensure that you will see inflated hot air balloons. Safety will always be our first priority when it comes to operations of balloons. We will not operate balloons in the rain as it will destroy the balloon which costs between $50,000 and $75,000 new. We will not inflate balloons if it is too windy or if there are gusty conditions.

*Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are strictly non-refundable. Admission to the event is admission to the festival itself and does not guarantee seeing balloons.

*All guests experiencing tethered balloon rides must first check in at our waiver desk to sign a liability waiver. Here you will be given a token to hand to your balloon pilot when you ride. Without a token, you will be unable to ride. Your unique ride token will also serve as a voucher at a future event should balloon rides not take place due to poor weather conditions.

*All pre-booked tethered balloon ride guests must check in by 7pm each evening.

*All guests MUST arrive after 5pm and before 7pm. No entry will be permitted before 5pm or after 7pm.

*Well-behaved pets are welcome at this event. All pets must be on a leash.

*We only sell enough advance tethered ride tickets to account for around one hour of operation. If we lose a day or two to weather, this allows us to guarantee all pre-purchased tickets can be processed on other days of the festival.

*Tethered rides will begin as close to 5pm as the weather conditions permit and will operate until 9pm or until weather conditions dictate. We will extend operating hours if required due to a weather delay / late start. Once again, the exact time of balloon rides is undetermined as they cannot begin until conditions are safe. Please listen to PA System for announcements.

*Gates open at 5:00pm. These events can be very busy and may result in traffic congestion outside of the venue and/or lines for food/beverages/balloon rides. The best way to avoid congestion is to purchase in advance and follow advice and guidance on our social media channels and guest communications. THERE IS STRICTLY NO ENTRY ALLOWED AFTER 7PM.

*Balloon activity may be delayed or curtailed by the weather - please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on weather conditions and event information.

*The main balloon glow typically consists of ten to fifteen balloons. The main glow will last around one hour. During Covid-19, this number can be fluid due to last minute cancelations so we apologize in advance if numbers drop below ten balloons.

*Picnic blankets and camping chairs are permitted. No coolers or outside food/drinks permitted. Security checks will be in operation.
