The Orion 5K, benefitting MIFA Meals on Wheels is back and bigger than ever in the EDGE District. Join us near the Wonder Bread for a 5K, a 1-mile Family Fun Run, and a Street Party that will be the best thing since sliced bread—ha, see what I did there.
Bring your mama, your best friends and all the kiddos. There will be music, food, beverages, games and fun for all ages.
A big part of us is being a big part of the community. Join Orion in supporting our neighbors! Your support of this race will benefit the MIFA Meals on Wheels program.
Memphis has the highest senior food insecurity rate in the nation—11.4% of seniors in our community lack access to adequate nutrition. Since 1976, MIFA Meals on Wheels has provided hot lunches for homebound seniors, and today delivers more than 700,000 meals to 4,400 seniors each year. Your support helps reach more of the neighbors who need us most.
