Hockey Moves Full Day Camp is a full week of dynamic hockey programming to develop hockey players of all skill levels.
Each player will be assigned to a group based on their ability, to ensure everyone is improving while having fun.
Includes:
15 hours of ice time (3 hours a day)
Energetic dry land training
Fun learning environment for all skill levels
A Hockey Moves practice jersey, water bottle, and more fun giveaways
Snacks and drinks
Friday pizza party celebration
Requirements:
For ages 7-12, with some exceptions
Campers must bring their own personal hockey equipment
Campers must bring their own lunch (except for Friday, when we’ll have a pizza party to end the week).
NO peanuts or snacks containing nuts.
Bring a “growth mindset” and a friendly team attitude
Orillia Full Day Hockey Camp Daily Schedule:
9:00 AM: Drop-off
9:10 AM-9:50 AM: Dynamic warm-up on dry land
9:50-10:10 AM: Morning snack break
10:10-10:30 AM: Gear up for ice
10:30-12:30 PM: Ice time focused on skating, shooting, and skills work.
12:30-12:50 AM: Get undressed and ready for lunch
12:50 AM-1:30 PM: Lunch (PLAYERS BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH, except for Friday, when we will throw a pizza party to end the week!)
1:30-2:10 PM: 40-minute dry land session
2:10-2:30 PM: Gear up for ice time
2:30-3:30 PM: On-ice training with rotation through different stations followed by games such as hockey-soccer and contests with giveaways.
3:30-3:50 PM: Get undressed
3:50-4:00 PM: Recap of the day. Celebrate successes and discuss development focus for the next day.
4:00 PM: Pick up
