From Bangalore, India, Screetus is a prog/alt rock band that weaves together melancholic melodies, poignant storytelling, & a deep exploration of human experiences & emotions. Their music draws inspiration from a wide range of artists including Steven Wilson, Opeth, TOOL, Radiohead, Nirvana, & Pink Floyd, resulting in a unique sound that defies easy categorization.

At the helm is Abhishek Sikdar, who handles lead vocals, guitars, & synths. Alongside him are Vamsi Krishna on guitars, Arnav Sharma on bass & backing vocals, & Vishnu Venugopal on drums.

In 2020, Screetus released their debut prog EP, `Auburn Garden`, and in 2024, they unleashed their much-anticipated debut full-length album, `Into The Ether.` This genre-bending concept album isn`t just a collection of songs; it`s a sonic odyssey, seamlessly morphing from prog to indie rock, post-rock experimentation, and alternative fury.
