We’re celebrating Tuttle’s 75th anniversary with a free origami crafting event! Join us any time from 1 - 3 pm to create some original origami creations & for a chance to win a prize from Tuttle. Supplies will be included, as well as tutorials from local artists Tasia Skoviak & our bookseller Jen.
Perfect for creative individuals of all ages, this family-friendly event is free to attend & will include everything you need to create some incredible origami creations, including beautiful folding paper & tutorials.
About Tasia
Tasia (Tay-juh) Skoviak is a Japanese-English medical translator and origami artist living in Suamico, WI. Tasia has been making origami since she was in middle school and began selling her pieces on Etsy in 2010. She currently makes bottles of paper stars with journaling prompts printed on the inside under the name Radiant Hearts Paper Co. These adorable bottles combine her decades' long love of origami as a calming practice with a heart-felt passion for journaling and reflection. She hopes that her pieces will help anyone who wants to become more thoughtful and intentional in their daily life. Will be available for purchase here at Lion’s Mouth!
