Come and join us at our next KFO orienteering event on Saturday 15th April at Dunnikier Country Park in Kirkcaldy. This is going to be a different format from normal - a race around the parkland.

Do not fret about the word “sprint” in the description. Everyone will be taking part at their own pace. The description is to indicate that the controls will be more easily visible than normal. The skill is to make decisions quickly and head to the correct one in the right order.
We will be having a mass start at 11am. There are four variations in the course which means you can’t follow the person in front because they may be doing a different section to you.
We expect the whole thing to take an hour, so it’s convenient to plan for your diaries.
The “Long” course will only be about 3km and the “Short” not much more than 1km.
Advice for beginners will be available before the 11am start.
