On September 21, WPOC will offer a FREE orienteering training day at Hartwood Acres (at the parking lot just west of the mansion). There will be two beginner instruction sessions (at 11:15 am and 1:15 pm); one intermediate instruction session at noon; and three advanced exercises for more experienced orienteers to try from 11 am to 2 pm.
If you are coming to one of the instruction sessions, be sure to arrive a little early (registration starts at 10:45); the sessions start on time. You can get more details of the activities at http://www.wpoc.org/trainingpreview.htm
Please preregister *before Friday September 19* at http://www.wpoc.org/preregistration.php , so that we know we have enough maps.

Don't forget, if you are bringing a minor who is not your son or daughter, you need to bring a waiver signed by the minor's parent (obtainable at http://www.wpoc.org/waivers.htm ) You can save time on the day by printing this at home and bringing it with you, already completed.
