Inspired by Karen Tam's ‘Golden Mountain Restaurant’ this event explores the relationship between objects, immigrant culture, hospitality, and contemporary art. Featuring works by artists Cheyenne Tan and Maia Leung, installed in for one-day at the Wing Hong Elderly Centre, this project invites you to meet the community and join the Lunch Club which serves authentic Chinese homemade dishes. The exhibition is free and open to all, however, the Lunch Club requests a £5 donation, which will go directly to the Elderly Centre. Spaces are limited, so make sure to secure your place through the Eventbrite link.
