Organizing in an Age of Repression: Book Event and Panel Discussion
Join us at First Parish in Cambridge for a joint book event for Visualizing Palestine: A Chronicle of Colonialism and the Struggle for Liberation *AND* Solidarity is the Political Version of Love: Lessons from Jewish Anti-Zionist Organizing.
In our panel discussion, Organizing in an Age of Repression, panelists (including a contributor to Visualizing Palestine and both authors of Solidarity is the Political Version of Love) will discuss the importance of narrative shift in the struggle for Palestinian liberation and share insights from cross-movement organizing in the midst of repression.
Both books will be available for purchase—including a special book bundle, only available for event attendees! At this event, authors are supporting We Are Not Numbers. All in person book purchases will support narrative shift and mutual aid. Organizers encourage you to purchase books in person for the best rate and to support critical Palestinian story-telling initiatives.

What does the politics of solidarity look like in practice, and how can left-wing organizations grow—in numbers and power—while remaining accountable to the broader movements of which they are a part?
In this book, two key leaders and former staff of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) —Rebecca Vilkomerson and Rabbi Alissa Wise—focus on the important role of anti-Zionist Jewish organizing within the broader Palestine solidarity movement, reflecting on their decade of leadership of JVP and drawing lessons especially relevant to those organizing from a position of solidarity.
