Michael Winter
Michael Winter is a composer and sound artist. His work includes pieces for acoustic and digital instruments, as well as installations and kinetic sculptures. His practice often explores simple processes developed over time, with connections to phenomenology, mathematics, epistemology, and algorithmic information theory. In 2008, he co-founded the wulf. in Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to experimental artistic practices. In 2018–2019, he was an artist-in-residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. Alongside his artistic work, he has a background in digital humanities and has worked as a research programmer and music specialist for Wolfram Alpha.
Bryan Eubanks
Bryan Eubanks, born in 1977 in the United States and based in Berlin, is a musician and composer. His practice develops through solo work and numerous collaborations in the fields of improvisation, experimental music, and sound research. Since 1999, he has participated in musical projects ranging from short-term collaborations to long-running ensembles. His work is particularly associated with the saxophone and with electronic and experimental practices. He is also active in collaborations with composers and musicians from the international experimental music scene.
Alexander Markvart
Alexander Markvart is a musician, theatre artist, and organizer of concerts, festivals, and cultural projects. He was born on January 5, 1987, in Kemerovo, Siberia, and is now based in Berlin. He has been active in various scenes of improvised and experimental music and has been involved in the creation and organization of projects dedicated to experimental musical practices. His work therefore extends beyond performance to include the development of cultural projects and contexts for presenting the work of other artists.
Romain C. Bertheau
Romain C. Bertheau, born in 1983, is a composer, organist, pianist, harpsichordist, and noise musician. He also works with the no-input mixer and develops a practice connected to vaporwave. In 2001, he won first prize at the Euro-Région Arras International Piano Competition. In 2013, he also received first prize at the Maurizio Pratola International Early Music Competition. In 2014, he left Europe for Asia, where he recorded traditional music, before returning to Europe in 2019 and resuming his work as a composer and performer. His current practice focuses in particular on the organ and the no-input mixer. He is the creator and curator of the ORGAN SEQUENCES series and lives in Berlin.
Austin Larkin
Austin Larkin is a composer and musician. Publicly available biographical information about him is relatively limited, but his own website describes him as a composer and musician living near the Duwamish River. His practice includes violin, flute, and bells, and has developed through solo performances as well as numerous international collaborations. His documented activities include concerts and collaborations in North America, Asia, and Mexico, including performances in Kuala Lumpur, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Seattle.
