Arturas Bumšteinas
(b.1982, Vilnius) is Lithuanian composer working within the intersections of music and art. His practices could be divided into several categories: experimental music, acoustic sound works, installations, pieces for theatre, radio art, curating etc… In mid 90’s Arturas was the first Lithuanian artist to use internet to gather sound material from around the world. He is initiator of various musical projects and since 2000 he has collaborated with different artists such like Anton Lukoszevieze, Vladimir Tarasov, Krystian Lupa, Žilvinas Kempinas, Gintautas Trimakas, Lina Lapelytė, Vaiva Grainytė, Gailė Griciūtė, Laura Garbštienė, Ivan Cheng, Arma Agharta etc… Arturas’ projects were presented in various venues in Europe and his solo exhibitions have been held at Vilnius Contemporary Art Center, Vartai Gallery, AV17, Galerie Antje Wachs Berlin and at various residencies around Europe. In 2017 Bumšteinas was artist-in-residence at the DAAD Berliner Künstlerprogramm and in 2021-2022 he was residing in Camargo Foundation. Festivals where his art-music projects were presented include The Holland Festival, Unsound, Tectonics, Angelica, Ultima, hcmf//, Sirenos, Vilnius Jazz, NOA, Skanumezs, Cut & Splice, Sacrum Profanum, Ultraschall, Sonic Circuits in USA etc. His music is published by labels such as Bolt, Cronica, Unsounds, Edition Telemark and others. In 2013 he was awarded EURORADIO “Palma Ars Acustica” prize for his radio art and a Golden Stage Cross for his theatre work in 2021. Since 2021 Arturas plays with his improv group Sneeze Etiquette, writes instruction scores for performers and explores random-number-generated harmonies.

Biliana Voutchkova
Dynamic, thoroughly engaged interdisciplinary artist, violinist, composer-performer, improvisor and curator with highly individual, unconventional artistic language. Through the prism of listening, her early training in classical music and the years of development as contemporary artist-performer, she explores states of spontaneity and intuitive resonance embodied in her multifaceted activities. Her work spans the widest possible range of sound, vision, movement and includes concert performances of improvisation, contemporary composition and original site specific work, exhibitions, long durational / multidisciplinary performances, audiovisual works and installation formats with focus on the interconnection between inner world and sound space.
Biliana works internationally as a soloist and in collaboration with many renowned artists and ensembles (the Splitter and Trickster Orchestras and Ensemble Modern among others). She is the founder and curator of the DARA String Festival, faculty at the Academy of Arts Bern/HKB Bern, SHAPE+ Platform artist for 2022/2023,
co-founder and member of Voutchkova/ Thieke duo, Jane in Ether and the Land Stages Collective, and a recent recipient of the Berlin Residency Stipend at Cité des Arts / Paris, Villa Aurora in Los Angeles, the Composition Stipend from the Berliner Senate, grands from INM/Berlin, Musikfonds, the National Culture Fund/Bulgaria and the Trust for Mutual Understanding/New York.

Dylan Kerr
is an Irish artist who has also worked in Berlin and Poznan. Their work takes the form of durational, endurance-based performance, drawing on the embodied languages of ritual, protest and worship. Their practice also focuses on audio-based work which operates on the cusp of sound art and contemporary music, with a prevalent influence of religious arrangements. Most of their work has been made public through site specific performances and installations in adapted-use buildings.

Gailė Griciūtė
Lithuanian composer, performer and sound artist who researches and creates sound situations which question familiar acoustic perceptions. She graduated from the Sibelius Academy of Music in Helsinki, Finland and Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, and was also a guest student at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. Gailė is a member of the performance collective Eye Gymnastics. The group’s works have been shown at various festivals in Lithuania and Germany. Some of the festivals and concert series where Gailė Griciūtė’s sound and art projects were presented include Ahead, Jauna muzika, Soundscape, NOA, Estonia (Vilnius), Counterflows (Glasgow), Sound Art Festival (Kaliningrad), Unsound (Krakow), Labor Sonor (Berlin), Tectonics (Tel Aviv), Atmospherics (Haus Der Kunst, Munich).

ゴマサン aka Romain C. Bertheau (b.1983)
Composer, organist, pianist, harpsichordist, noise musician (no-input mixer) and Vaporwave artist.
In 2014, he left Europe for Asia, where he recorded traditional music. Back in Europe in 2019, he resumed his career as a performer and composer. His work focuses mainly on the organ and the no-input mixing board.
Lives actually in Java island and Berlin.

Shun Momose
Japanese instrumentalist, sound artist and performer based in Berlin Echtzeit Musik (experimrntal and improvisation music) scene. In his musical approach, Shun currently works on overtones, feedback and silence with modified musical instruments and technology hack of audio system. Having a background in theatre, his artistic temperament explores improvised music as performing arts by means of diligent listening attitude and the relation between a performer and audience. Aside live performance, he works on a self-built immersive audio system and multichannel sound installation to expand the possibility of musical experience independent from the current form of infrastructures of music culture.
Wanqian Lin
Born in Taiwan, Berlin-based sound artist Wan Qian Lin is a pianist and music educator with a rich background in performance and teaching. She has created numerous sound installations in Germany, including ‘Der siebte Engel’ and ‘Invisible Love’, and has composed music for various international music and dance theatre productions such as ‘Feng Shui Sound installation’ and ‘whisper of mushroom Sound installation’.
