First year MSM organ student Joel Stoppenhagen will present a recital entitled "Eine Kleine Abendmusik." This recital showcases organ masterpieces by some of the most influential composers of the Baroque era. Works by Scheidemann and Böhm exhibit contrasting treatments of Lutheran hymn tunes, while works by Bach, Buxtehude, and Frescobaldi highlight the shared spontaneity and expressive freedom that connect the Italian and German traditions.Event is free but ticketed and open to the public.
