We hope you can join us in Corvallis and Springfield this year for our SongWorks Saturdays (and maybe a Friday afternoon!).
Our first workshop is on October 4th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Corvallis. Betty Phillips and Jakki Pilcher Moses will lead the way with Playful Teaching, Vibrant Learning!
What is SongWorks? SongWorks Educators Association (SWEA) is a community of educators dedicated to engaging learners through SongWorks, a principles-based approach to teaching music. Grounded in purposeful, caring interactions, SongWorks uses songs as the foundation for playful, responsive, and musical learning. SWEA members support one another by developing and sharing ideas that promote growth as both educators and learners.
We are charging $10, which will be used to award scholarships for our Certification Courses next summer, July 13-17, at the University of Utah.
