About this Event
Ordinary Elephant
International Folk Music Awards 2017 Artist of the Year Ordinary Elephant captivates audiences with their emotionally powerful and vulnerable songs, letting the listener know that they are not alone in this world. The collaboration of husband and wife Pete and Crystal Damore, their connection, and their influences (such as Gillian Welch, Guy Clark, Anais Mitchell) all meet on stage. “Two become one, in song...hand-in-glove harmonies surprise the listener with focused intensity and musical mastery,” says Mary Gauthier. The Associated Press is calling their latest album, Honest, “one of the best Americana albums of the year.”

Coltt Winter Lepley
Coltt is a 26-year-old Appalachian folksinger, songwriter, author, poet, folklorist and retired race car driver. Originally from Bedford, Pennsylvania, he’s been billed as “Bedford’s Own Poet Laureate” and “A young songwriter with chops well beyond his years” by Pennsylvania Musician Magazine. Coltt is also a published poet and fiction author who is currently an MFA Candidate at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Coltt received his undergraduate education at The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He has an extensive and aggressive upcoming schedule planned and has had his original music featured on some of the premiere songwriting music channels such as “Truthful Sessions,” and “Wallflower Wanderer,” as well as local programs such as Jim Price’s “Homegrown Rocker” radio show, The Band Junkies “Interview and a Song,” and “The Weird Turn Pro” podcasts dually hosted out of Nashville and Central Pennsylvania.
Matt York
The Boston Globe recently named Matt York's new album "Bruisable Heart" one of their top albums of 2019. Matt grew up in Foxboro, Massachusetts and began playing the clubs of Boston as a teenager. Since then, he's played on stages throughout the United States and Canada.
The Boston Herald says of Matt York’s album Boston, Texas that ”the singer-songwriter uses basic building blocks — Buddy Holly’s chords, Hank Williams’ swagger, Steve Earle’s boozy wisdom, Paul Westerberg’s straight-up-drunk wisdom — to construct an album of beauty, optimism and heartbreak”. Matt's new album explores a cross-section of everything from straight-up rock n roll to hints of country. His album has received radio airplay throughout the world. His album "Boston, Texas" was named Limelight Magazine's Debut Album of the Year". His last release, "Between the Bars" was listed as one of the top albums of 2017 by the Patriot Ledger, Gatehouse Media, Ryan's Smashing Life and several other radio stations and news publications.
His previous release "Between the Bars" was released in late 2017. Gatehouse Media's Peter Chianca wrote "Put Boston’s Matt York in the 'should be rich and famous department' -- his country rock with a jangly edge has instantaneous appeal, combining wry lyrics about barflies, ex-lovers and fading summers with infectious melodies and a rocker’s penchant for strumming his way through heartbreak".
