Orchid and Flora Walk with NPWS at Bohernabreena Reservoir
About this Event
A complimentary bus will take you from Tallaght and return afterwards.
Discover the variety of wildflowers, including the orchids, that grow in the different habitats that this valley is renowned for. This leisurely walk will look at the wildflowers, the habitats and the general biodiversity of the area and is suitable for everyone with an interest in nature and its conservation. It is also an opportunity to meet with NPWS Rangers who monitor this protected area.
Date: Tuesday, the 7th of July at 10:30 (at Rua Red Cafe).
Length: 4-5km approx.
Walk Duration: 3 hours approx (up to 4 hours including bus journey).
Degree of difficulty: Easy on trails, medium in grassland field and woodland.
Bring: Sturdy footwear, rain jacket, warm clothes, drink, and food.
Meeting point: Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre beside The Square in Tallaght from 10:15.

Note – no dogs allowed on this walk.
