ORC First Day Hike 2026

Why not start the year with a bit of movement and exploration.

This hike will be 1 of 2 on the Creekside Trail, bike path #2. It bridges points on both ends used by the Buckeye Trail, but takes a much more direct path between Xenia and Eastwood Metropark. The total distance of the trail is 15/16 miles.

Part 1 will be meeting at Xenia station and shuttling to Beavercreek station where we can find parking. I don't have exact details of the distance but estimate 8-9 miles on this hike.

Please be aware this hike is weather dependent. If the forecast calls for bad weather, it might be cancelled. To help with that please be sure your eventbrite registration is using a valid email and check the day of the hike if there has been any updates.
