Orbiter is a heavy psych doom band from Helsinki, Finland. The band's sound is a melting pot of crushingly heavy riffs, haunting psychedelia, and hypnotic vocal melodies. They first rumbled into the heavy music scene with the 2020 EP The Deluge. The 2023 debut album Hollow World, produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica), was also critically acclaimed. The album’s praising reviews repeatedly highlighted Orbiter’s style and sense of dynamics, building on contrasts between grinding heaviness and serene ambience.

Permanent Blue combines musical elements that have stood the test of time and fresh, memorable ideas. The band's focus is to present the seemingly complex music in an easily digestible way: in their music, you can find pretty melodies, catchy riffs and heavily interwoven song structures.
The band has released 2 singles and are preparing for their full-length LP release.
Permanent Blue won the Heavy Music Band Battle in 2024 and have enchanted Estonian audience with many performances last year, including 2 concerts at The Krypt.
