At the Denver Indian Family Resource Center (DIFRC), we are committed to strengthening vulnerable American Indian/Alaska Native Children and families through collaborative and culturally responsive services to support generations of healthy and strong American Indian/Alaska Native families. As a service we want to support and provide a space for healing and recognition of the resilience of families that face trans-generational trauma caused by the Indian boarding school experience. It is a special day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter and that Every Child Matters. Our event is kid friendly and will include:
-Community feed
-Traditional Games & family activities
-Community Resources
-Talking circles
-Art workshops
-Dance
-Music
-Vendors
