Orange County FULL MOON Sound Bath Meditation Monday August 19th, 2024

This is a FULL MOON sound bath and an immersion in coherent harmonic vibratory frequencies to help balance and calm the mind, relieve tension and stress from the body, expand self awareness and leave you feeling renewed and rejuvenated. Sound baths are for groups of people and are about 60-75 minutes during which listeners lay comfortably on a mat, blanket or other cushioned surface while they relax and stay present as special sounds create and ignite an inner journey. After a few minutes of flow, meditation and/or breath work, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession.

Cost: $40 Early Bird / $45 at the door / Teens & kids $15 (you can just bring them to the event and pay there).

Details: This is a laying down experience ~Make sure to create your most comfortable space . Comfy suggestions: Blanket, pillow, water, crystals, yoga mat , your own eye pillow ~ we do provide some organic eye pillows for the experience on a first come, first server basis. Also, wear comfy clothes so you can relax. There is free parking in a lot right behind and to the right of the store and another small parking lot for the Chakra Shack just off Glenneyre and between Thalia and Anita. If you can't find parking there, street parking isn't too hard to find. We do allow for a little time before the sound bath for quiet contemplation with specially designed journal questions created specially for the Full Moon.

The instruments used may include planetary gongs, quartz crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, rain sticks, buffalo drums, ocean drums, rattles, chimes, bells and more. The gong vibrations impact the body and its meridians and helps to release blocks, reduce tension and stimulate circulation. The gong transforms emotions that can get stuck in our energetic field, by helping to transform and move the thoughts which sustain and recreate the feelings. The purpose, and our collective goal with this work, is to induce relaxation by calming the nervous system and inviting personal inquiry and self exploration.

The sound bath experience is about letting go and allowing the sound take you to a deeper place. Sound is the vessel and it allows you to explore and identify what a meditative state is and how it feels. Because of this, a sound bath is not only beneficial for beginners of meditation, seasoned meditators will experience just as many benefits. Great for singles, couples, friends and family!
