In these FREE introductory oral history workshop, our instructors will educate attendees in all the steps to create and conduct an oral history project. Attendees will be instructed in research methods, the art of the interview, oral history legalities, and how to store and preserve the interviews.

Andre Taylor and Tonia Merideth, oral historians from William & Mary and the William & Mary Bray School Lab, will be your instructors for Oral History 'How To'. With their expertise and passion for storytelling, they will guide you through the art and techniques of oral history.

This workshop is designed to be accessible and accommodating to all, whether you attend just once or multiple times. Bring your questions and your curiosity; the content may evolve based on your interests, questions, and active participation.
