Trio d’artistes multi-instrumentistes, Oracle Sisters est la réunion de deux amis d’enfance aux vies profondément entremêlées, Lewis Lazar et Christopher Willatt, réunis par un coup de pouce du destin à Paris, où ils rencontreront la musicienne finlandaise Julia Johansen.
Après deux EP “Paris I” et “Paris II” aux inspirations rétro-futuristes, ils se font notamment remarquer avec leur titre Asc. Scorpio, avant de sortir leur premier album Hydranism en 2023.
Leur musique puise ses racines dans la tradition folklorique du temps passé à Édimbourg et à Dublin, puis incorpore l'americana, le rock n roll, le psychédélisme et la soul glanés au cours de leurs voyages.

Oracle Sisters, een trio van multi-instrumentalisten, zijn twee jeugdvrienden met diep verweven levens, Lewis Lazar en Christopher Willatt, die door een toeval samenkwamen in Parijs, waar ze de Finse muzikante Julia Johansen ontmoetten.
Na twee EP’s, ‘Paris I’ en ‘Paris II’, maakten ze naam met hun track ‘Asc. Scorpio’, voordat ze in 2023 hun debuutalbum ‘Hydranism’ uitbrachten. Hun muziek is geworteld in de folktraditie van Edinburgh en Dublin en bevat Americana, rock-’n-roll, psychedelica en soul die ze tijdens hun reizen hebben verzameld.
