Optimist Hall/Belmont Mural Walk

Experience firsthand how murals enliven public space, learn about street art and murals, and be inspired by hearing about the creative process from an artist. Our Mural Walk will start at Birdsong Brewery and end at Optimist Hall. We will stop at 9 to 10 murals and a newish mural by Junior Gomez will a highlight!

There is free parking at Optimist Hall for 90 minutes. Free parking on surrounding side streets also. Light rail access from 9th Street which is a 10-minute walk to Optimist Hall or from the 25th Street station which is a 5-minute walk from Optimist Hall. Food and drink for purchase inside Optimist Hall and at Bird Song Brewery. Family and pet-friendly.

Junior Gomez is a Charlotte-based muralist and mixed media artist. Gomez uses vibrant colors, bold designs, and a unique style with graffiti elements and endless creative exploration to create his art.
