ops:x kicks off with a heavyweight: LA hip-hop legends The Pharcyde bring their genre-defining sound to Melbourne's 170 Russell for one day only. Behind the era-defining classic Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde (1992) and hits like "Passin' Me By," "Drop," and "Runnin'," The Pharcyde helped pioneer the jazzy, playful, boom-bap alt-hip-hop sound of the early '90s, and three decades on, their live show still hits just as hard. Support on the night comes from Common Goods, rounding out a lineup built for heads who came up on the classics and anyone ready to hear them live.
