Opioid Misuse and Overdose Reversal: Narcan Training is a continuing education course that provides participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to recognize opioid misuse, identify the signs of an opioid overdose, and respond effectively using naloxone (Narcan). The course covers risk factors, overdose prevention strategies, state laws and Good Samaritan protections, and step-by-step instruction on administering Narcan. Participants will leave better prepared to act quickly and confidently to save lives in opioid-related emergencies.

This program has been approved for General contact hour of continuing education credit by Start Corporation as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
