This recruiting event takes advantage of the many bulletin boards and other opportunities for visibility on the Rutgers University campuses. It's an old-fashioned-but-effective publicity strategy, and will involve criss-crossing the Rutgers College Avenue, Bush, and Livingston Campuses, taping or tacking up Avenger mini-posters where students can see them.
It's good exercise, with quite a bit of walking, but it can also be a fun chance to promote the group and enjoy a (hopefully!) nice day. Of course, the more folks we have helping, the quicker and more fun the event will be. In past years it's been a fun game. So come on out, have fun, and help promote the Avenger! Even if you can only spare an hour or two, that'd be a big help.
We'll meet at 11:00 AM at the College Avenue Student Center, and then progress outward.
We'll end the day with dinner, and possibly a movie if there's interest.
