How important are our VETERANS to you? Me? Very important!! I have many friends & family that are veterans. Our Vets deal mentally & physically with a lot that us civilians can't even begin to wrap our heads around. When a good friend of mine, Turtle Lebrescu, reached out to me to help raise money for Operation Tackle Box, I told him to come in and talk to me. After listening to his personal story with Operation Tackle Box & his time with the Founder Jacob Watkins... I couldn't say yes fast enough!
Jacob came up with Operation Tackle Box "Healin Through Reelin"! Combat veterans helping combat veterans! Everything Jacob & his 501c3 Nonprofit do for our vets comes from the heart. Jacob takes combat vets out fishing... yea, yea. I hear ya saying fishing. Yes, "Healin Through Reelin"... the vets go out on a pontoon boat with other vets & Jacob and fish... but is that really all it is? After talking to Turtle & his experience... NO, that's not all it is... Its silence, clarity, release, fishing... if they want to carry on conversation, they can do that too, but they don't have too.... It's a time and a place and a moment to themselves to heal!
So, to the raising money part...
Jacob & his team need to build a pontoon boat that is wheelchair accessible. So, money raised will go directly to Operation Tackle Box to get a pontoon or two built that vets with wheelchair needs can get some 'Healin Through Reelin"!
I'm not a veteran. I was not medically allowed to join, but that doesn't stop my love & support for Our Military!
I ask for you to come out and help us raise money for this amazing nonprofit group who is doing everything they can to help our Veterans! If anyone deserves it, our Veterans do. To our Vets - I THANK YOU for your service & sacrifice!

***I will be in need of baskets, Items for raffles, $ if you want my team to purchase items to create baskets or purchase items for raffles.... any and everything helps. ***
***I will also need volunteers to help at the stops and at the end with set up! Please & thank you in advance!!***
