Operation Secret Santa and Friends present: Operation BikeMas. Your mission: to prepare 150-200 bikes to flow back out into the community as gifts on doorsteps this Christmas
When: December 3
Where: 350 ELAINE DR; LEXINGTON KY
How:
4-6 is the Bluegrass Mountain Cup bike wash. Get these donated bikes shined up and gift ready. We will have supplies but feel free to bring buckets, rags etc. Dress to get wet. Perfect for kids, NICA teams, and bike oblivious grown ups.
6-9 Mechanics, this is your time to shine. Please bring tools, a mechanic stand or pump if you have them. If not we will have extras.
Bikes: donated by our dear friends at Broke Spoke, and the amazing community at large.
Mechanics and bike parts: Broomwagon, Pedal Power, Schellers and Broke Spoke.
Bike wash supplies: courtesy of Bluegrass Mountain Cup.
Food: provided by Bourbon & Toulouse.
Beer: by Ethereal Brewing.
Save your biggest hugs for: Jack Baugh and Denile Hill who spent HOURS assessing bikes, creating a spreadsheet of parts, and rallying the local bike shop community to get #morekidsonbikes this holiday.
