About this Event
Honoring Our Heroes INC. is the host for this event. Due to our many great local sponsors such as Service One Credit Union, the Parks and Recreation Staff and many other sponsors we have been able to grow this event.
This event combines both public displays and tactical battled to recreate one of many battles during Operation Anvil in 1944
Operation Anvil is free and open to the public and reenactors as well. Ou focus is to teach the history of the men and women who have and are serving in the armed forces of the United States
Bowling Green is on Central Time Zone please make a note of this.
Opening Ceremony is at 0900. Safety and Authenticity inspection is immediately after.
Everyone who takes part in the battle MUST attend the safety briefing. There will be NO Exceptions.
Field commanders will be responsible to ensure everyone is groomed to period military standards.
