Operant exists in a unique realm, passing between power-electronics, industrial, techno and dark ambience, exploring themes of gender, body morphology and its ability to be altered through violent reconstruction.
DEAD SOIL
Dead Soil is a industrial doom band hailing from the Netherlands. they paint a dark picture for the future, a lifeless planet, cold and desolate. Dead Soil brings a sound that harks back to bands like Godflesh and Scorn.
DESIGNER VIOLENCE
Wild synthesizers, rough beats and emotional vocals. Designer Violence was born in 2018 out of a shared passion for bands like Skinny Puppy and Einstürzende Neubauten. Nina and Tessa have found a raw sound of their own with a healthy dose of quirkiness and activism. Throw away all your shame and get carried away by this intense mix of electro, punk, wave and industrial.
