The Abduction (from the Seraglio) opens our UNRAVELED season with a daring rescue, a cast of lovable schemers, and plenty of comic misadventures. With dialogue spoken in English and music sung in German, this sparkling comedy follows Belmonte's attempt to rescue the woman he loves from the palace of a powerful Pasha.
But beneath the laughter, every character is struggling for control. As carefully laid plans begin to unravel, Mozart reveals just how fragile our certainties can be... and how unexpected grace can change everything.
