Let's celebrate the opening of the music season in style! During our Opening Weekend, Bozar demonstrates its love of musical diversity: an impressive range of artistic universes, a joyful mix of genres and some digital creations. This festive weekend will take place in two stages, with a first evening featuring Tunisian oud player Anouar Brahem and his quartet for a concert at the crossroads of jazz and Arab music, Icelandic pianist Eydis Evensen, the Nordic jazz of Janne Mark and Arve Henriksen, the post-classical group Echo Collective, not forgetting the explosive duo Glass Museum - also invited the following day. Sunday will be family-friendly, with the Carnival of the Animals performed by the ensemble Les Siècles, along with the exciting Glass Museum and the minimalist Bach of La Tempête. A first weekend full of good vibes!

FR ― Fêtons l’ouverture de la saison musicale comme il se doit ! Lors de l’Opening Weekend, Bozar démontre son amour pour la diversité musicale : une palette impressionnante d’univers artistiques, un joyeux mélange des genres et quelques créations digitales. Ce week-end festif se déroulera en deux temps, avec une première soirée des plus riches, réunissant l’oudiste tunisien Anouar Brahem et son quartette pour un concert au croisement du jazz et des musiques arabes, la pianiste islandaise Eydis Evensen, le jazz nordique de Janne Mark et Arve Henriksen, le groupe post-classique Echo Collective, sans oublier le duo détonant Glass Museum – également invité le lendemain. Le dimanche sera tantôt family friendly, avec le Carnaval des Animaux incarné par l’ensemble Les Siècles, tantôt excitant avec Glass Museum ou encore le Bach minimaliste de La Tempête. Un premier week-end chargé – de bonnes ondes !

Tijdens het Openingsweekend demonstreert Bozar zijn liefde voor muzikale diversiteit: een indrukwekkende waaier van artistieke universums, een vrolijke mix van genres en enkele digitale creaties. Dit feestelijke weekend vindt plaats in twee etappes, met op de eerste avond de Tunesische oed-speler Anouar Brahem en zijn kwartet voor een concert op het kruispunt van jazz en Arabische muziek, de IJslandse pianiste Eydis Evensen, de Nordic jazz van Janne Mark en Arve Henriksen, de postklassieke groep Echo Collective, en niet te vergeten het explosieve duo Glass Museum - dat ook de volgende dag uitgenodigd is. Zondag zal gezinsvriendelijk zijn met het Carnaval des animaux uitgevoerd door het ensemble Les Siècles, naast het spannende Glass Museum en de minimalistische Bach van La Tempête.
