Kicking off our City-wide Program and Scavenger Hunt
This September during Climate Week, we’re inviting you on the goosechase of our lives. Join our city-wide scavenger hunt that connects you to climate events, actions, installations and activations across every borough. Then dig deep with our Ferry Talks that go into the neighborhoods with on-the ground climate luminaires in the fight for the future of housing, energy, youth action, a changing shoreline and food security.
Paddle the Gowanus to a climate-themed concert on a barge, join an ocean clean-up party on Jamaica Bay, learn about vertical farming, forage amidst the most concrete of urban jungles, get in deep on flood resilience with the Waterfront Alliance, join a ferry talk on the myth of housing vs environment, write to your future ancestors with Dear Tomorrow, get the digs on community land trusts, be held in your climate grief with the Climate Imaginarium.. and the list goes on…
Go where you’ve never been or help mobilize your favorite neighborhood organization.
Collect points along the way to redeem for prizes, everything from Tony’s Chocoloney big bars to annual citi-bike passes to select beers from local breweries.
The scavenger hunt is an interactive experience for groups or solo.
It’s easy and free to participate.
