Opening Doors: Making Housing Safer for Survivors

CCFWE is organizing Opening Doors: Making Housing Safer for Survivors as part of the Help Us Rise campaign. The panel will explore the impact of domestic violence and economic abuse on access to safe housing, and how housing can improve financial inclusion for survivors and the economy as a whole. Leaders from the housing sector, financial institutions, women’s organizations, and government will share survivor-centred strategies to expand housing access, reduce systemic costs, and strengthen Canada’s economic resilience.
