At the ago of 12, Leo was sent to Sky Ranch for Boys when his parents passed. He was chosen for a summer program at the University of South Dakota where he was introduced to the work of the great Lakota artist Oscar Howe, another strong influence on his art.
Leo's education and career as a graphic designer here in the Eugene area led him to design screen prints for more that 72 universities and colleges across Canada and the US. In addition to his unique contemporary native art, he currently creates artwork for online adventure games.
