The Mahwah Museum will reopen for its fall season on Saturday, September 27th! New this season will be the Somewhere in Fardale exhibit, exploring the history of family, farms, firemen, flying machines, and fun! Travel back in time to discover how a quiet agricultural town was transformed by wealthy New York power brokers who built mansions, factories, and world-class farms and stockyards through The Gilded Age of the Ramapo Valley exhibit. Lee Vold’s photos in Mahwah High School Memories gallery will be on display, plus our popular Donald Cooper Model Railroad. The World of Model Trains, a brand-new exhibit, will showcase for the first time our G scale Garden Railway trains alongside a diverse collection of Lionel trains from 1900 to today, highlighting their historical significance and inviting train enthusiasts and families alike to connect with this rich tradition. The Les Paul and Mary Ford in Mahwah exhibit will continue to be upgraded. The museum will host an array of special workshops and lectures and concerts this upcoming season that we cannot wait to share with you! We’re looking forward to welcoming you back on Saturday, September 27th! The Mahwah Museum is open on Saturdays, September-June from 1-4 pm. Admission to Mahwah Museum is $5 per person.
