OPEN CALL – Festival CIRKULUM 2027 (Ostrava, Czech Republic) The Cirkulum Festival 2027 is announcing an open call for contemporary circus artists and companies focused on street performance. The festival will take place in the protected and heated space of the Gong Multifunctional Auditorium.
What do we expect?
- New circus artists (companies and individuals)
- 30 min. show including work-in-progress for outdoor settings (will be presented indoors)
What do we offer?
- Participation in the showcase festival CIRKULUM from February 12th to February 15th, 2027, in Ostrava
- Travel, accommodation and board covered by festival CIRKULUM from 12th to 15th February 2027
Networking: The opportunity to present your work to representatives of festivals and cultural organizations from the Czech Republic and abroad during pitch sessions and networking meetings
Promotion: Space in the artist catalog (printed and online)
We do not offer any artistic fee
Conditions of participation: Fill in and submit the application form.

Submit the form including the required files by September 30th, 2026, at the latest.
How does the selection process work? Based on received applications, the jury will select artists to be invited to the festival.
The results will be announced by October 31st, 2026.
