Open Thresholds, A Malina Cipleu Solo Exhibit
About this Event
begins from the idea that perception is limited to what we can sense directly, yet much of what we experience exists just beyond that edge. The work explores this threshold—where what is seen begins to soften and what is sensed, remembered, or imagined starts to take shape.
The threshold is not only physical, but perceptual: a space where clarity gives way to atmosphere. Drawing from rhythms and patterns found across natural systems, the work approaches nature not as subject matter, but as a form of intelligence—one that unfolds through growth, adaptation, repetition, and subtle variation.
Forms remain intentionally open, inviting a slower kind of looking in which meaning emerges gradually through attention, memory, and imagination.
Free to the public. Complimentary wine and sparkling water.
