Looking for a place to study, collaborate, and stay focused? UIU Des Moines is pleased to announce our new open study hours. Classroom space is reserved in the evenings for students to drop in and take advantage of a dedicated workspace. Students may come and go as they please during open study hours.
We will have two classrooms with different groups, depending on your needs. Feel free to switch back and forth between groups at any point during the evening!
Quiet Group: A workspace for students looking to eliminate distractions, while still enjoying the company of others. Need some extra accountability? Consider collaborating with other students in this group to plan focus sessions and break times.
Coworking Group: A workspace where conversation and interaction are encouraged. This is great opportunity for students in the same online class to meet and discuss course materials, to collaborate on group projects, or for anyone who would like to socialize a bit while studying.
