What happens during an Open Studio?

During the open studio, you'll be able to bring in your own pre-loved garment and select from a range of handcrafted chainstitch embroidery personalisations. You can choose from monogramming, names, and short phrases, as well as pre-made custom patches and customisable designs. In you are in a hurry, during the event, you'll have the option to get your garment shipped back to you. That way, you'll be able to shoot off!

What's the story with the Open Studios?

Open studios came as a necessity and an opportunity to engage with our clients. A necessity, because we no longer offer small embroidery customisations over client’s own garments from the studio. In our day to day agenda, we mainly focus on larger pieces and more complex designs. But we still wanted to dedicate sometime for these as well as meet our clients and show them our colourful studio. For this reason we came up with an Open Studio plan. So if you're thinking of something special for yourself or a loved one, this is the perfect opportunity to get it customised.

What’s the ticket for?

Tickets are to allocate a booking slot and the £20 will be detracted from your commissions on the day.

Prices for personalisations on the day:

• Initials on your garments - £20

• One name or word on your garment - £25
• Two names or words on your garment - From £37+
• We will be also selling one-off and limited-edition patches and customisables, with prices ranging from £15, £25, £37, £55+

What payment methods will be available during the event?

You can pay in cash or card.

While the official address is Studio 0111, Unit 0, THAMES SIDE STUDIOS, HARRINGTON WAY, LONDON SE18 5NR we have a quicker and simple route for you, following.

Head up to Unit 5 (Yes, not Unit 0, it's easier to follow this route!) go up the metal stairs and you will see some signs to us! Our phone is 0791 0290662, should you need it! Please watch the attached video and you'll find us right away.

How early should I book?

Open Studios only happen a few times a year, so we suggest booking a slot as soon as you can, to guarantee your spot. Our busy schedule means that slots fill up quickly, so don't miss out!

How to get here:

There is free parking on site if you come by car. There is also a cafe on site until 4pm.

• By crossrail/train/DLR: WOOLWICH, then take the bus 472 ,161, 177 or 180
• By tube: NORTH GREENWICH, then take the bus 472 or 161
• By bicycle: Thames River cycle path
• By Thames Clipper (the most fun way!) ROYAL ARSENAL pier, then take bus 161, 177, 180, 472 or just walk for 27mins from the pier to us just by the river!

What else is in the area?

The studio is located in one of the biggest studio complex in theUK and it's right by the river Thames. The Reach Climbing Wall is also within the same studio premises. You can pop over for a coffee, or a sandwich and to check out some professional climbers in one of the most colorful setup in the country.

Cancellations

While we understand changes of circumnstances may happen, we offer refunds for cancellations up to 48 hours days before event. If you think you might not make it before then, PLEASE let us know in advance so we can give your slot to someone else. Thank you!
