Open Studio Friday at The Factory
About this Event
The August edition of Open Studio Friday takes us to The Factory to visit the art studios in Building 8 (YES, there still art studios at the The Factory) and attend the Andy Warhol Birthday Celebration in Leroy Land (Building 8)and the 4th Annual Andy Warhol Birthday & Pop Art Party in the FloridaRAMA Gallery featuring an art exhibit curated by Luke Heath and live performances and interactive !
HOW TO GET THERE: You can enter directly into Building 8 through a door on Fairfield Avenue (to the left of FloridRAMA when standing on the Fairfield). Or if visiting FloridaRAMA first, you can exit through the back of the gallery, and follow a painted green line on the ground leading you to the art studios.
WHEN: The art studios will open by 6pm. Leroy Land may be open even earlier.
FloridaRAMA exhibit will be open 7pm until 10pm
PARTY DRESS: for the pop art party, people are encouraged to dress up in “Factory era” clothing.

Open Studio Friday is a monthly rotating “open house” at a different art studio building every month on the Friday before 2nd Saturday ArtWalk, so we get the chance to meet up and visit each others’ art spaces. Connecting with each other where we create to build a stronger community and make stronger art: an industry night for artists and art & culture workers.
This is NOT a replacement for Saturday ArtWalk. Our studios and galleries will be open to the public again the next evening for the monthly St. Pete 2nd Saturday ArtWalk, August 8 (5pm - 9pm)
