Open Studio at the Burchfield Penney Art Center is a drop-in workshop on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. Each month, explore and experiment with various art materials and techniques guided by Museum Educator Michaela Worosz.Open Studio welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels to join the fun and express their creativity. Each month, we will delve into a new theme and art material, allowing you to expand your artistic knowledge and skillset. Each creative theme project is designed to complement the current exhibitions within the museum and the colors, shapes, and textures of the Usuem Studio. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, our Open Studio is the perfect place to learn, create, and connect with other like-minded individuals in a relaxed and supportive environment.
No registration is required. Drop-in anytime between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm.
Free with admission. Members are free.
All materials will be provided.

October's Theme: Leaf Printing
Note: There will be NO Open Studio on October 5 (Family Day)
November's Theme: Crochet Basics, inspired by the exhibition, Wilhemina Godfrey: I am what I am
Note: There will be NO Open Studio on November 9 (Private Workshops) and November 30 (Holiday Break)
December's Theme: Beaded Ornaments/Wire Wrapping
