About this Event
Join artist Konstance Patton Ke-nee-go-keshek for a reception and open studio featuring acoustic live music!
Konstance will provide visitors with activities to work on together, including mixed media stations and coloring sheets. The works created will contribute to a large-scale collaborative art installation.
This public art installation is based on portraits of New Yorkers merged with nature in the city. Konstance invites artists of all ages to engage with the artistic process by assisting her in creating these works. She will host open studios where artists can learn fine art techniques and work on a collaborative piece, using art as a focal point for community strengthening. Participants will explore trees, plants, and funghi in Central Park for inspiration, merging the human form and local plant life.
