OPEN social: Picnic + optional walk and swim

Is this event for you?

Yorkshire OPEN is a community for people in or curious about ethically non-monogamous relationships.

This is a family friendly social event. To make it a great experience for you and other members of the group, we will email guidelines we ask everyone who attends to follow. These are around things such as photography and boundaries. You will receive the email once you have signed up.

The event is open to new and familiar faces, all OPEN members and their connections, families, partners, loved ones etc. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome, though dogs should be kept on the lead and please remember that not everyone likes dogs so don't let them jump on people without checking if they are okay with this.

The plan:

• Meet at the picnic benches next to the Little Owl Cafe.
  Bring your own lunch and picnic blanket, and swimming stuff if swimming.
• Go for a walk, as long or short as people feel up to and then a swim in the lake for those who want to.

This is not an officially organised swim and you are responsible for your own safety.
There is one official entry point to swim in Bowers Lake and it's important to only use that one so as not to disturb wildlife, and to maintain the good reputation of the swimming community.

Event finish time is not fixed and people can stay around for as much or little as they like.
